Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Experience working with children or individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required for in-home visits.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of children and families.
What You’ll Do
- Provide in-home care for children with I/DD, offering respite for parents and caregivers.
- Engage in fun and enriching activities with children, supporting their emotional and behavioral needs.
- Maintain a respectful and supportive relationship with families, providing a safe and comforting environment for the child.
Position Highlights:
- Location: In-home care for children with I/DD in Bergen and/or Passaic Counties.
- Employment Type: Part-Time, with the potential for Full-Time.
- Compensation: $20 - 30 per hour depending on weekly hours worked
